Stain & Glaze – Ivocolor, IPS e.max & IPS Prime Esthetic

Working on both anterior and posterior restorations, you will learn new techniques how to achieve first class aesthetics; within everyday lab timeframes The expert tuition delivered on this course will ensure you are achieving the best results from the selected Ivoclar materials and equipment.

This hands on course aims to provide dental technicians with an increased understanding of how you can achieve outstanding aesthetic results, focusing on refining techniques that improve productivity when working with the Ivocolor stain and glaze system.

During this hands on course, trainer Sylwia Arizpe will discuss the scientific properties, handling characteristics and recommended application of Ivocolor before demonstrating how she prepares her restorations by refining shape and surface texture. The tutor will then explain and demonstrate how she uses the Ivocolor stain and glaze system to add natural translucency, character and depth to the restorations.

Delegates will work on pre- milled anterior and posterior units in order to allow you to create restorations for you to use as demonstration pieces. Correct firing procedures for both lithium disilicate & zirconia restorations will be explained and demonstrated to ensure the delegate fully understands how to get the best result from the material selections and the Ivocolor stain and glaze system. The tutor’s preferred techniques for final hand polishing will also be explained.
