They are designed to be worn for 20-22 hours a day, with occasional breaks for eating and oral hygiene. Each set of aligners is worn for one or two weeks before being replaced with the next set in the treatment plan.
The aligners exert a small amount of force on the teeth, which causes them to move gradually into the corrected position.
