Educational Aims
The objective of this hands on course is to guide the delegate through the steps of designing Ivotion full, oversized full and partial milled milled dentures in Exocad software. The delegate will spend the day using the software to design a range of real life cases to a competent level.
Development Outcome
This CPD Course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcome C, Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice.
Learning Outcomes
During this course you will learn how to use Exocad software to do a basic design of each of the following.
F/F Ivotion design
F/F Oversized design
P/P Oversized design
Tips/ tricks and overcoming potential barriers.
Instructor- Ricardo Soares, RDT Ivoclar
Ricardo completed his degree in Dental Technology in Portugal. He specialised in prosthetics, particularly in crafting fully customised dentures. Ricardo has years of experience lecturing and providing training on dental technology worldwide. He is deeply passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. Ricardo is currently a Technical Product Consultant and the Digital Master for Ivoclar UK and Ireland. He focuses on empowering dental laboratories to embrace the transition from analog to digital technologies. His responsibilities include: • Educating and guiding customers and distributors on the effective use of Ivoclar Digital products and services. • Supporting the sales team in turning opportunities into successful partnerships. • Updating the sales and marketing teams on product innovations, market trends, and industry insights. Combining technical expertise with clear communication, Ricardo is committed to delivering tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth in the ever-evolving world of dental technology.
