Steven was a key player in establishing Ken Poland Milling Ltd in 2007. The company was founded by three partners, but Steven and Rob Poland continued on as the central London milling centre for 3M and their Lava products.

In 2017, they expanded their capabilities by introducing two new open milling machines, allowing them to mill a wider range of materials, including Zirconia. The company has specialized in milling soft materials such as PMMA, wax, and composites.

In his free time, Steven is an avid cyclist who commutes from Kent to London on two wheels. He enjoys pushing himself to ride long distances, sometimes covering 200 miles in a single day, for both personal satisfaction and to support charitable causes.
