Richard Illingworth is ALS Technology and Manufacturing Director. Richard is a trained engineer with a degree in Technology and Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick.

Richard joins us from BAE Systems where he has been Head of Manufacturing Engineering on the nuclear submarine program.  Prior to this he also had a very successful career in the automotive industry, both in the UK and the USA where he lived for over a decade.  He worked at Brose and Haldex and during this time held senior positions in engineering, manufacturing and quality.

Richard brings a wealth of technology and manufacturing experience to ALS and has come on board to help ALS transform the dental laboratory industry. His experience, drive and passion for this role is key for capitalising on the fantastic opportunities we have as a group.

Richard and his wife are keen horse riders and currently own Irish Sport horses, Jack and Diamond.
