Recognised as one of the foremost dental milling centres in the UK, Bristol Crown is seeking a dedicated individual to join Bristol Crown, an ALS company. You will have some experience in CadCam software and become part of a high performing team operating milling machines and 3D printers.
Dental knowledge is not required as training will be provided, and over time you will be learning on the job. You will be someone who thrives off variety and is happy to work under pressure to meet daily deadlines. In turn we will give you the opportunity to work to your strengths as well as develop new skills.
You will need some experience with CadCam software or be highly skilled in a variety of software applications and quick to pick up new packages.
If you have experience in 3D printing that would be great too as this is a service we offer that is more and more in demand.
If you are a dental technician, or training to become one, with an interest and aptitude in digital dentistry then get in touch, this just might be the perfect role for you.
It is likely whoever fills this position will be able to develop their own role, depending on their strengths and interests, but to begin with you would have the main responsibilities listed below:
• Design and produce 3D printed dental models
• Operate Cam software to manage our milling machines
• Conduct equipment maintenance, including cleaning, calibration, and software updates.
Eventually, with experience and training you will be able to offer technical support to dental laboratories via email, WhatsApp, and phone and actively contribute to refining existing processes.
