Inspired by his older brother who was a Dentist, Jim trained to be a Dental Technician at the Royal Dental Hospital, London and graduated with distinction.

After gaining several years experience working as a technician he set up on his own in 1983 and in 2000 he joined up with Jason Foster at Oakview Restorations.   From there they grew Oakview, moving from Cookham Dean to the current location in Saunderton, High Wycombe.

When Jim gets some precious spare time he enjoys photography and DIY.
