ALS welcomes Richard Illingworth as Technology and Manufacturing Director

Richard Illingworth joined us on Jan 4^th 2022 in the new position of Technology and Manufacturing Director.  We identified the need to create this role at the strategy meeting in Leeds in July 2021 to help us transform the dental laboratory industry.

Richard joins us from BAE systems where he has been Head of Manufacturing Engineering on the nuclear submarine program. Richard has previously had a very successful career in the automotive industry both in the UK and the USA where he lived for over a decade. During this time he held senior positions in engineering, manufacturing and quality.

He brings a wealth of technology and manufacturing experience to ALS.  Richard’s  experience, drive  and passion for this role means we enter 2022 well placed to capitalise on the fantastic opportunities we have as a group.
