Educational Aims
This course is aimed at experienced digital crown and bridge designers who would like to expand their knowledge into implant design.
During this one day hands on interactive course you will gain a basic understanding of how to use Exocad CAD Design software to design simple Implant Crown and Bridge restorations.
Development Outcome
This CPD Course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcome C, Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice.
Learning Outcomes
Learn how to Import an Implant library into Exocad
Understand how to fill out a project file
Understand how to use the mesh alignment tools
Understand how to select implant connection and align scan flag
Learn how to design a custom abutment with freeform emergence profile
Learn how to design using digital wax up file on a angle corrected Ti base bridge
Learn advanced cut back techniques

Shaun has been designing implant restorations in IW dental for many years. He has a passion for striving for efficiency teamed with exceptional aesthetic results in his designs. He is delighted to be able to share knowledge he has gained through the years with other technicians in the group.
