Simon is an award winning technician and has over 25 years of experience as dental technician having started his apprenticeship in 1993 and qualified in 1997. Simon has travelled the UK and Europe to find the best training and education available attending courses by some of the worlds leading technicians. He likes to keep up to date with the latest techniques and has a particular interest in ceramics and CAD/CAM technology. His main area of work is ceramics and regularly works on cosmetic smile design cases and single anterior cases (which he finds to be the most challenging) and will use a variety of techniques and ceramic materials to achieve the desired results from Lithium di-silicate , zirconium oxide and metal ceramic. Simon likes to share the techniques and knowledge that he has learnt over the years and pass this on to other technicians he enjoys the teaching expect of his career. He has also been called on for help and advice in developing training courses for both clinicians and technicians. Simon is co owner of Simplee Dental Ceramics which he started in 2010 which concentrates solely on crown and bridge and implant work. Outside of work Simon enjoys watching and playing sport, walking and listening to audio books.
