Educational Aims

During this one day course you will learn the key components of the MiYo system and learn how to place MiYO Colour, MiYO Pink and structure materials using two different colour schemes (young and old)  You will learn to create highly characterised, aesthetic results using a very thin layer.

This CPD Course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcome C,  Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand how to use the MiYo Colour and Pink Liquid Ceramic Systems to achieve highly characterised results using a thin layer of material.
  • Learn hands-on how to create two different colour schemes (young and old) using MiYo colour, pink and structure materials.
  • Understand the key components of each kit
  • Understand the most effective application methods of both colour and structure materials.
  • Understand firing parameters to achieve the desired textures and a natural looking restoration.

Instructors Bio

Karl Deakin is a trained Jensen demonstrator and an enthusiastic MiYO supporter. He has been involved in Dental Technology for over 35 years starting out in his fathers laboratory. He has worked commecially aswellas at two dental hospitals and has taught Dental Technology at three dental instituations. With MiYO he knew he had found a fantastic and revolutionary product unlike any other. His training at Jensen’s teaching laboratory now enables him to share his knowledge with others.
