Educational Aims

This course aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to embrace the future and confidently work with your lab to use the iTero prosthetic scanning workflow to prescribe Dentuvo Digital Dentures. 

Development Outcome

This CPD Course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcome B & C, Effective management of self and effective management of others or effective work with others in the dental team, in the interests of patients; providing constructive leadership where appropriate; Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the Dentuvo Digital Denture product family at Bronze, Silver and Gold standard 
  • Know which denture cases can currently be treated with dentuvo digital dentures and when you can prescribe Dentuvo to your patients.  
  • Know the material and mechanical properties and of Dentuvo Digital Dentures and the differences and similarities between digital dentures and analogue traditional dentures.  
  • Know how to treat repairs, relines, additions and replacement Dentuvo cases.  
  • Know what patients need to know about Dentuvo and how to explain Dentuvo Digital Dentures to your patients.  
  • Know how to use the iTero IOS workflow confidently to scan partially dentate and edentulous arches. 
  • Know how to use your iTero scanner to record bite registrations in partially dentate and edentulous arches 
  • Know how to use your iTero scanner to scan your patients existing dentures using the wash impression technique.
