Business Software Solutions Director

Matt has worked in technology for over 20 years starting as a graduate developer for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, the multinational IT and consulting company. His career has included a wide range of industries, developing systems and solutions for criminal justice and intelligence agents, large scale electronics manufacturing and civil engineering for Fujitsu Telecommunications, consumer credit and finance systems for Experian, and commercial digital photography for international leisure companies such as Merlin and Caesars Entertainment.

He has joined ALS after 4 years as Chief Technology Officer at an online proptech firm, bringing technology and solutions to consumers buying and selling homes through online and automated services. Integrating the very best IT, commercial software solutions and bespoke software development to provide innovative and cost-effective services to their customers and panel of legal suppliers. Matt is also a Certified Data Protection Officer and will supporting the growing business with their data protection and compliance obligations.

Matt is passionate about improving the interaction of people with technology and has spent much of his career understanding and reengineering business processes and systems to increase engagement and satisfaction of customers whilst reducing waste and cost to the business. Being part of the ALS team doing something transformational within the industry was an opportunity too good to miss.

When not playing on computers, Matt is a licenced British Swimming Official and spends a lot of his time at poolside with his two daughters.
